BOOM BOX RECORDS 026

BoomBox are proud to announce the first in a series of classic house cuts from back in the day getting a right royal beating from some of the scenes greatest producers, we’ve managed to obtain the licenses of various house tracks that we feel would benefit from a slight re-rub from some of the boys of the ever expanding breaks scene.

Ian Loveday started his recording career in 1987 with the release of ‘Cuban Jakkin’ by Rio Rhythm Band on Eddie Richards’ BAAD label, shortly followed by ‘Light, Color, Sound’, his first release as Eon on Vinyl Solution. Eon also remixed & produced tracks for Bizarre Inc including the classic ‘Raise Me’ Also during this period ’88 – ’93 he had the first releases on Hooj Choons & XL Recordings with the release of classic Rio Rhythm Band track ‘Carnival da Casa’.

The year is now 2005 “in case you hadn’t noticed”, and BoomBox are getting ready to unleash what could quite possible be one of the biggest remix’s of 2005!Chris has put together an absolute monster
remix to kick off the ‘BRINGING DOWN THE HOUSE’ series in gigantic style. Many more classics are being lined up over the coming months which will eventually transfer to an album release to be mixed by Mole
& Aya.

This record's sure to be found in the boxes of Sander Kleinenberg, Plump DJs, Meat Katie, Hyper, Soul of Man, Ricky Stone,Klaus Hill,Tayo, etc..
